Got my mitts on the Pashli bag on super sale at Barney’s. It’s an older version in smooth leather (the newer versions are pebbled), which is probably why it was such a steal.
At first I was worried about how easily it would get scratched and I spent several hours researching how to buff out existing scratches with leather conditioners and the best protectant sprays to prevent new ones.
Then I closed all the windows in my browser.
Meh, I’ll just let the purse develop its own personality. I kind of like the idea of a tote that looks like it’s actually been used. Creases and folds to show that its owner got some use out of it. Why carry a bag if you’ll only obsess over every surface it bumps into? Bags are meant to do work, and work this bag shall do. On its last trip to Target, it left carrying a bottle of contact lens solution, a bag of dog treats, and a roll of Clorox Wet Wipes.

Lucky you! I’ve been eyeing the Pashli and it’s mini-version for quite some time now.. It’s just a bit too stiff-looking. I’m sure after some time of breaking it in, it’ll sag a bit. Can’t wait for my local retailer to get some back in stock!
Do you find sharing how much you got it for? I too am looking to get it in white, smooth for 500 big ones….worth it?
